Currently we received one of the most beatiful varieties of Apistogramma
agassizii in limited numbers. The variety "Flamenco" is collected
in the wild, but according to our exporter it does not represent a local
population. The Flamenco variety is selected from other "normal"
Apistogramma agassizii catches.</span></font></b><o:p></o:p></p>

It is well known that under aquarium conditions it is quite easy to
establish stable colour varieties from Apistogramma-species that show a
high degree of polychromatism in the wild (for example A. agassizii, A.
bitaeniata, A. cacatuoides). So it seems very likely that fish like the
Flamenco variety represent the ancestors of the pretty A. agassizii
"Redback", which is unknown from the wild so far.</span></font></b><o:p></o:p></p>

One of our proofed breeders supplied us with a very nice collection of some
Goodeids, which are very seldom available in the trade. However, we have only
limited numbers in stock. One of the pretties species is Skiffia
multipunctata. The males vary a lot regarding coloration, so a tank with
Skiffia multipunctata is very intersting to look at.</span></font></b><o:p></o:p></p>

Goodeids are livebearing fishes. They are kept best in unheated aquaria.
During the warm season the fish are particularly suitable for outdoor
aquaria. Skiffia multipunctata reach a maximum size of about <st1:metricconverter
ProductID="6 cm" w:st="on">6 cm</st1:metricconverter>, males always stay
smaller than the females. In the wild Skiffia feed a lot on algae. In aquaria
they readily take any usual fishfood, but a good flakefood has proofed to be
the best for the species.</span></font></b><o:p></o:p></p>
